We are proud to announce that West Coast Zahav is standing here at Silvertrees this season. West Coast Zahav (OZ) is a beautiful Palomino Arab X stallion Oz is 7/8 Arab with one 1/8th Aussie Stock Horse. Family tree will be added to the web site shortly happy to E-mail details.

Oz has a superb look with those White stockings and blaze and is a very special addition to Silvertrees thank you Carol and Penny Sisters II Stud (Timaru) for allowing Oz come to stay with us.

Oz stands at 15.1 hh, which is a very versatile height for those with ponies and Hacks.  Oz has a superb Temperament something that has always been very important here at Silvertrees. His conformation is A1 and his movement it has to be seen, to be really appreciated. Oz floats across the paddock.

I am looking forward to having some Oz babies myself next season he will be a beautiful compliment to my breeding program. I have a couple of Gamblers Daughters lined up to go to OZ.

I will be taking outside Mares to Oz $750 including Gst and 2 weeks grazing, $250 of which is non-refundable booking and handling fee.  LFG conditions apply. Bookings are limited and no mares will be accepted after December.

Oz performed well in endurance till an injury put him out for a season. He was then Purchased from Barbara Avery by Sisters II stud where Carol trained him in Dressage where he continued his career with amazing success.   Oz’s last show in Nelson he was Supreme Champion in hand and went on in the afternoon to repeat  this under saddle which was no mean feat at the breeders which had a large number of entries.

 A thrill to ride and manners better then most geldings Oz passes his amazing temperament, paces and presence onto his foals. Oz’s 5yr old daughter Silands Dulcie was Supreme of show at the Nelson breeders this year 2011
