With my seventh seasons foals on the ground this year I thought it about time I updated this particular page. 

Gambler has certainly proven that he is an extremely consistent stallion, he has continually produced foals that have his wonderful nature and are extremely easy to train being smart, quick to learn as well as sensible. 

Gamblers family tree provides both Dressage and Jumping lines and his youngsters have been successful both in-hand and under saddle. Ridden horses have proven their skill in both jumping and dressage and Gambler has proven that his progeny certainly have the skill, talent and ability to compete in all fields. 

To me the most special thing about Gamblers progeny is Temperament Temperament and Temperament as above all else this is the most precious side of my youngsters. I have been told again and again by their owners how smart, sensible, quick to learn, unflappable, confident and loving they are. I am a firm believer that if you have a good relationship with your horse then everything after that is easy, and Gamblers youngsters are certainly horses that you can form that wonderful special bond with. Just ask any of the owners of Gamblers youngsters as they are all loved and cherished which to me is the most special thing of all and why I enjoy what I am doing and hope to continue on for many years to come.

Gamblers ability to improve on the combination of him and the chosen mare astounds me, I am extremely lucky here and have yet to be disappointed with any foal produced, be it solid colour or Pinto and I am delighted to say that owners of outside mares are extremely happy with the resulting foal from bringing their mare to visit with him.

Gambler is very easy to handle in all ways (I serve in a Rope Halter) and as I am often alone here and hand serve the mares this is indeed a bonus, he is a real gentleman with his mares he seems to love coloured girls especially but is happy to be with all his ladies. Gambler seems to know when I am bringing him a maiden mare and is particularly soft and gentle with them. He is allowed to take his time and likes to cuddle both before and afterwards.  I often refer to him having given them flowers after and the extra special ladies get chocolates and wine as well.

Outside Mares:

Be assured that your mare will be well looked after and time is spent with all mares making sure they are in season and are happy to be with him. My set-up allows me to bring his girls close so they can get used to his approach and become relaxed before they are served. All care is taken to make sure that your mare is as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I am happy to have owners see their mare being served where practical.  I am also patient and take my time.  If your mare does not get in-foal first cycle then she is here till the next. Silvertrees Foal/Youngster training:

The methods I use are a mixture of old school, natural methods and just things that work. I make things as stress free as possible and all foals are respectful without losing their personality along the way.   No person or horse is perfect, we all have our quirks and different natures, it is a part of what makes us interesting, therefore when working with a foal or youngster, I treat each as an individual and adapt myself to suit them, with the same end  result - a respectful happy horse that is eager to please and learn.
