Hi everyone well we are now into September. Still awaiting foals. Dream and Blaze are bagging up and it is only a matter of time. Our Facebook page The Silvertrees Family which is open to those that own or have owned Gambler youngsters is going well. There are some lovely pictures on it too.
Ladene is here helping me she is the daughter or a friend and Is helping me out with the breaking in and handling of the horses and yesterday she rode Ballistar for the first time he was a real star and awarded a gold star. This fella is progressing well and so far as with the other youngsters I have broken in he is taking it all in his stride.
I am bringing Legs back in this week to continue on with his riding now it has dried up and I have someone to ride him with. I have served a couple of mares already with Oz and Gambler has a couple of wives in the paddock with him. The boys are really enjoying getting back to work. Gambler has been enjoying the mud puddles in his paddock and rea lly living up to his name of Piglet.
